The quire window sometimes appears with lots of information like
- Displaying task numbers to the side in list view tab 2.Showing the parent tasks in small fonts on the top of each task in board view tab 3.Showing all the tags fully without shrinking in the list view tab
These features will be missing when the page is refreshed and I don't know why.
Hi @abhijithananthan , it seems like you have toggled on the Advanced mode by accident. To toggle it off, press Ctrl or Alt for Mac.

H @abhijithananthan , we would like to keep our settings page as minimal and simple as possible. However, I will bring this feedback to our team for more discussion. Thank you.

Good day. I would agree with @abhijithananthan that I would prefer "advanced mode" to be the default. I find them to be essential information for me, for example each of the above will solve the following problem of mine quickly that "minimal mode" doesn't:-
- So that I can easily hyperlink my task by hex in Quire. Like linking to this task by just typing
#2871#2871. This is a very natural procedure for long-time users of GitHub and tools that adopt this workflow too. - Subtasks have general information stored in it's parent tasks. I will want to transit between them seamlessly. But my list view might have scrolled away from the displayed task.
- So I can give the same colour to 2 tags with similar intentions. So in the most zoom out mental view, I can catch these grouping at a glance to see how much of such tasks I have, but at the next mental level I can see where this task goes to. For example, I have client A and client B, and many non-client related work. The latter might have taken up most of my colours already. Since client servicing is important regardless of client, I will then want to issue both of them red coloured tag. So, when I am planning my day broadly, with a quick scroll of my list I know roughly how much time today I should spend on client-facing tasks. When it comes to actually grinding the tasks, I will sort them by projected chronological order inside the same list. At that time I would prefer to know whether I am servicing this task for client A or B. These will be noise as task title, and also harder to sort and filter than tags.
I agree there are users that would prefer the simple view. I do occasionally to increase sense of zen. These group also tends to be grumpy when the default isn't "nice". So feel free to keep the UI the way it is for them.
But please give us a way to toggle "advanced mode as default" inside the settings. It is the default I want, and most people who want advanced mode are likely power users who are willing to spend brief time inside options to toggle things to our preference so as to simplify our life subsequently.
Just like I am willing to write this long message with the upside potential of improving my life without the need to press Alt every time =P For me, this change is worth the effort.
For your consideration please.

Thank you. That's great. It'll be great if advanced mode is added as an option in the configuration settings ?
