Currently I can find no way to see if an item has a description, note, or file attached without clicking on each item and opening the Detail panel.

If there is no way to do this, please add this as a feature request. A simple icon would suffice.

@ericforman - you can toggle on the Advanced mode to see the breadcrumbs. Hit Ctrl for Windows or Alt for Mac.
