This might just be me, but I often find myself in the situation of not clicking the notification bell to see my notifications as this will then mark them all as read. And if I don't have the time to action them there and then, I will forget and the notifications will fall into the great notification infinite ether :S
I think the best way to deal with this would be to give the option to "archive" notifications.
This would allow me to archive any notifications that I've dealt with (e.g. completing, setting a new due date, moving them up my list, etc.)
Importantly, any notifications that I haven't had a chance to deal with would remain visible.
This way I could safely check my notifications without fear!
Thanks!
Hi Yozza,
- Once the notifications are removed from the panel, they are deleted forever.
- Currently, the notifications can only be deleted one by one. I understand that this can be somehow cumbersome. I will share your suggestion with our team members and keep you updated.
Let me bring these suggestions to our team and back to you. 🙌

Hi @yozza0 - similar suggestions had been brought up by other users. Our team had heard the suggestions. We will have more internal discussion about enhancing our notification panel. If there are any updates, I will let you know. Thanks again! 🤩

Hi, in our latest update, we added a new function where you can delete the notifications from the notification panel. I hope this helps 💪

Hi @peggy, this is the main useability issue for me at the moment (a testament to all the amazing work the Quire team has done!!), so just wondering if there are any updates on this?
Yozza, May 13, 2021
Hi Yozza - Unfortunately, our team still don't have any updates regarding this feature. I will pass along your feedback again and let you know if I have any news. Thanks!

Thanks Peggy and team Quire!
Two questions:
- Is it possible to view past notifications that have been removed from the notifications panel?
- Is it possible to mass delete notifications? I currently have many (hundreds??) of old notifications, so deleting them individually isn't practical.

Thanks Peggy!
That's ok, was just wondering. Since my initial feedback request I figured out a workaround. I use Quire email notifications and Gmail labels/filters. So I can use Gmail as a record/archive of old/deleted notifications.
No worries, thanks!

Great, thanks Peggy 😃
