When I'm given a due date to a project I put it in a parent task, and I create nested tasks with what I need to do, nevertheless when I look at the count of tasks per day I don't need to count the parent task since I use that as an indicator only

Hi Javier - Thank you for your feedback. It's in our consideration to have 'Section/Header' feature for our future enhancement. For 'Section/Header', it might act like a parent task, however, you won't be able to set dates/ tags/ assignees to it. (This is just a rough idea of this feature that we have in mind.) When it gets implemented in the future, it might be a solution to your request.
