Quire doesn't always give me the option to create Subtasks. Why? Thank you.

Alvin, you can install this Chrome plugin, and add the following CSS style, and the add-subtask button will always be visible.

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/stylish-custom-themes-for/fjnbnpbmkenffdnngjfgmeleoegfcffe

CSS STYLE:

.display-hint .task-tree .tree-item:not(.group)>.tree-row .task-menu-bar .new-task-btn { display: inline-block!important; }

This is the plugin to use for Firefox, you would add it to the plugin.

The document about Substasks indeed needs to be fixed!

Hi Alvin Orzechowski - Here's a guide on how to create subtasks in Quire: https://quire.io/guide/add-task/#add-a-subtask. I hope this helps.

You can always create subtasks, you can move them to other tasks or change thier level of nesting. Either by dragging or by using tab or shift+tab.

[Shift] + [Enter] key combination works. Thank you. However, the last time I looked at the documentation it was not obvious that that was an alternative to the icon, an icon which appears erratically. I offer that the icon should always appear, or it should be removed altogether. Thanx again for your help.

Thank you, Serge.

I use Firefox and avoid Chrome. Please tell me that Quire is working on a Firefox plugin. BTW, I am not a fan of plugins.

And where would I add the CSS classes you passed on, and why don't they apply to Firefox?
