Basically I would like to group tasks on the board. In the Video they Show by member and priority. Most interesting for me would be a grouping by parent task, however. This would allow me to more easily see the progress of my stories on the board.

Hi Arvid - In Quire's Board view, you can also create swimlanes by grouping the tasks by Assignee, Priority or other options.
As for grouping tasks by a certain level, this isn't in our consideration. We are considering to add option for filtering by a certain level, this way, you will only see the tasks in a certain level (for example, see all the tasks in the first level/root tasks). I hope this can help with your use case. We have a thread #4277 in Quire Feedback discussing this feature request, if we have any updates, we will keep you posted in that thread.
