#480: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

It would be nice to configure what notifications you want to receive for certain projects. For example, for 1 project I want to be notified about every comment, added tag, assigned task, file upload etc that's being made. And for other projects I just want to now when a task is completed and nothing else.

This would make the notifications much more effective En would remove all unnecessary clutter.

Hi Shimon, It will still happen but as we have other priorities (see here), we have not gotten to it yet. 😞 Will keep you guys posted.

+1 for this, notifications at the moment are useless because you either have them on in which case every small action creates a notification flooding you with messages or of course you unfollow the task, unless its assigned to you in which case you still get flooded.

IMHO there should be some granular control over what generates a 'notification' , i would even accept having it as a global rule instead of per task or project. Anything would to stop the current tsunami of notifications 😞

To be clear, i dont need to know every time there is the smallest activity on a task like changing the date or assigning someone new, i really only need to know where there is a new message or a task is completed, everything else is just noise.

Noticed this was originally posted in June 2017 ..... i guess this is not happening ?

Hi Ivo, Nice suggestion, and you are actually not alone in this. 😃 Please let us think about it, thanks.
