If a task has not been started and a sub-task status has been changed to "In progress", is there a way the parent task can automatically be changed to in progress?

If a task has not been started and a sub-task status has been changed to "In progress", is there a way the parent task can automatically be changed to in progress?
Hi Jeremy - Thank you for your feedback. We don't have an option for the parent task to automatically change its status when the subtasks' status are changed.
In Quire, we treat the parent task and its subtasks separately as their own individual tasks, this way it gives users more flexibility when it comes to setting the task's status.
