Hi,
As EA in our company, I have just created a free account and added my Director's list of tasks under a project. I have added him as an Admin member to the project so that he can see the whole project and associated tasks, so that I don't have to assign every task to him.
However, from some simple testing I have conducted, it seems that unless the task is assigned to him, if he adds a retrospective date to an unassigned task that I created, it does not show in the list of 'My Tasks' for him, when he filters accordingly. Is there a solution to this or do all unassigned dates belong to me, as the Account Holder?
On a similar note, if he syncs the project with his Google calendar, will only dates for tasks that are assigned to him, be synced?
If this is the case, if I deleted my Director as a User, would he be able to recreate a new Quire account using the same email address?
Thank you in advance.
Kerry
Hi Kerry - Please see the answers below:
For the tasks to show up in a member's My Tasks, the tasks have to fit one of the below criteria. See this guide for more information about My Tasks.
Only the tasks with dates will be synced to the Google Calendar. When syncing the project to the Google Calendar, there is an option for you to choose whether you would like to see All the tasks from that certain project or only sync the tasks assigned to you.
If the Quire account is deleted, all the previously assigned tasks to this certain account will be unassigned at the same time. After the account is deleted, the same email address can be used to create a new Quire account.
Hope this helps.
