How it looks right now:
Problem:
All notifications looks very beautiful, but uses a lot of space, and impossible to understand what is going on, or not enough data to read, and a lot of space used via repeatable things.
Suggestions how to make notificactions looks better
Change notifications FROM
<User Pic> <nickname>: <action> <task_name> <comment>
TO:
<UserPic>: <comment>.
When you will click on such notification will be executed next things:
- Notification will be marked as read.
- Color of notification will be changed to default one from something bright.
- Will be opened a task comments and selected a task where actions has been done.
- If you have extra not read notifications, a "notification" icon will show that you still have extra undread notifications. Only notifications on what you click will be marked as read.
At the same time you solve next problems:
- More space for a comments to display what has been done
- More readable notifications, not wasted important space.
- Will be easy to navigate inside navigation.
What about other tasks like complete a task, or moved task, or create a project etc
I suggest to follow next format
- <UserPic> create <taskname / object name> in <taskname / project name>
In other words leave it like it now, but remove extra nickname in notification. Because user picture already showing to us who is it, who did something.
Extra things what i do not like in notifications. I already said above, that if you click on notification icon and for example you have 18 unread notifications, after clicking on notification icon all of the displayed notifications will be marked as read. This is incorrect. Notifications must be marked as read ONLY when user click on notification. Or if he directly comes to a task which has been modified, or commented, or i dunno and do something with task (open comment pane, or scroll down to the ed of comments)

@drwho Profile Pic only: Not Good In Organisations with many members and/or members who do not upload their photo, leaving away the name in comments would lead to problems. The idea would be good if hovering over the profile pig wuld let pop up the name.

Or for example "has done", "commented", "added" can be replaced via emoji, or some UTF symbols (but i dunno how they supported on other devices).
Main idea in next:
we are already know who doing and what, because we can always click on notification and we will warp to correct location of the task, in correct project in correct pane.
Notifications if removing extra already duplicate things can be very useful and readable.
Notifications right now hard to use, because they are marked all as read, even if you just open notification window with many finished work. This is incorrect if you have tons of things what need to keep in focus while others works.
