Dependency task should not be allowed to close without completion of previous task

Hi,

We've added an option that blocks task completion when the task, or any of its subtasks, still has an open predecessor. So a task can't be closed until the previous task it depends on is done.

You can turn this on in your project settings, under Features in the Status section as shown in the screenshot below, or visit our guide here.

Hi, We understand there is room for improvement in the task dependency feature.

I believe you are looking for task blocking, where the successor task cannot be completed before the predecessor task is completed. However, this feature is not supported yet.
