#6445: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

I would like to request a new feature in our system to improve department workflow visibility. We need each department in our garment factory to view only the statuses relevant to their work. This will reduce confusion and improve focus.

Our factory has 7 departments (e.g., Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, etc.).

Each department uses only a few specific statuses in their daily process.

We want the system to:

Show only the statuses assigned to a user’s department.

Hide other departments’ statuses from their view.

Example: Cutting Department should only see:

"Material Received", "Cutting In Progress"

Sewing Department should only see:

"Sewing Started", "Sewing Completed"

Please help to implement this department-based status filtering. Let us know if any clarification or support is needed.

Hi, thank you for your feedback.

If you want to hide certain tasks from specific members, the only option is to invite them as external team members. However, external team members have limited access compared to regular members.

As a workaround, you can create separate sublists for each department and share each sublist only with the relevant team members. When creating a sublist, choose Share with Selected members .

Then, use Filter tasks with pre-set conditions to automatically include tasks that match specific criteria in each sublist. To choose statuses, click All tasks > select the desired status > use the + icon next to the status name if you want to include multiple statuses.

This allows each department to focus on the tasks relevant to them. However, please note that this method does not fully hide tasks. Members from the same project can still see all tasks in the main List view.
