You’ve probably been working with Wunderlist for a while and you feel like it’s about time to find a better alternative? Or you’re just browsing to see if there’s a software that can help you organize your overloaded tasks better.
With Wunderlist going away in May, you are trying to find the best task management software. If you’re looking for something more straightforward yet still powerful to replace Wunderlist and keep up with your dynamic workflow, you’ve come to the right place.
Quire is an award-winning task management software and a perfect Wunderlist alternative. We’re here to help you replace Wunderlist with a simple software that can walk your dream home.
With our philosophy in project management, it has never been easier and more streamlined to work on your task lists. So no matter why you want to leave Wunderlist and move on with Quire, just know that we got you covered. Your projects are in good hands now.
Why is Quire the best alternative to Wunderlist?
Nested task list:
Our task list is the cool one, meaning we’re not a conventional flat to-do list
as many other Wunderlist alternatives offer, we give you a list with the contexts associated with each task. Unlike Wunderlist, our hierarchical task list has unlimited tasks and subtasks that help you break down big ideas into smaller and doable tasks.
Kanban board: This feature is something Wunderlist lacks and if you are looking for a Wunderlist alternative, you should really know about Kanban Board. With the same idea as a tangible board, Kanban board helps you visualize your workflow using columns that represent each step of “To-do”, “In Progress” and “Complete”. Combining with the nested task list, Quire lets you focus on your work, view your short-term goals at a glance and keep everyone on the same page.
Sublist: Sublist is an unique approach that makes Quire stand out among thousands of Wunderlist alternatives. For one to-do list, you can create as many sub-lists as you wish to focus on which matters the most to you. If you are familiar with Wunderlist’s smart lists, Quire Sublist is a huge advanced step for your project management.
Simple and elegant user interface: The intuitive user experience is the dealbreaker for many users to migrate their work from Wunderlist to Quire. Our team spends years of effort to strive for a delicate balance between Quire’s simplicity and the powerful features. We’re here to simplify your workload, not to create a software that wastes your time on the learning process.
Flexible permission control:
Wunderlist is a to-do app that aims to serve personal use. However, Quire is beyond that. You can work with multiple assignees for a single task and create an external team
to only work on the tasks that are assigned to them. Also, Quire enables you to share links with your clients
to view a private project or a task without them signing up for a Quire account.
There are a lot more features that make Quire the best Wunderlist alternative, such as: Multiple assignees, Siri activation, Smart Folder, Zoom In, Slack Integration, etc. So are you interested enough to leave Wunderlist and have an account with Quire?
Easy and Fast Process to Migrate Your Projects from Wunderlist
Change can be uncomfortable, but we’ve made it easy for you! Here’s how we help you upgrade your task management software to Quire!
Export your data from Wunderlist into a zip file then uncompress the folder to find a JSON file.
Tip: You can go to Account Settings on Wunderlist, choose Account, click Create Backup and wait for the zip file to be sent to your mailbox.
- Create a new project at Quire.
- Click on the dropdown next to your new project’s name.
- Import from your uncompressed JSON file.
All of the lists from the left sidebar in Wunderlist will be treated as root task in Quire, and the tasks inside the lists will be treated as subtasks. If there’s a subtask in Wunderlist, it will become the sub-subtask in Quire. If you wish to treat each list from Wunderlist as a project in Quire, you can move these tasks to other projects.
