The refinement conversation worth repeating

The obvious reading is "build an attachments page." Refinement pushed on the why and found two different problems wearing one sentence:

1. People cannot find a file they know exists → a search problem
2. People want their files out of the product → an export problem

Those need different solutions. Shipping an attachments page would have solved neither well.
