#342: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

and I tried them all. Nothing comes even close. Please charge money for it so that we can make sure that this project stays alive.

Thank you so much for this, I waited a long time for a practical, user-friendly, web-based to an app. It has everything that we need and is super simple. On top of that, your design is nice and clean. Not like Wunderlist. A theme color option would be great but other than that everything is as it should be.

Nice work!

Hi Philipp, We now have a dark theme - Monochrome Dark - available in Quire 2.0! You can switch to it under Theme in your Account Settings. 😃

Hi Crystal,

so far we tried a lot of different of you competitors like Asana, Basecamp, Wunderlist, MLO, Todoist, Jira, Remember the Milk, Anydo, Google Task, Soho and Task coach. There are many reasons why we don't stick with any of them but the most important reasons are either the design is really bad or they are so overloaded with features that they stand in your way. We just wanted a web based to do list that is really easy to use and that has a minimalistic design but still looks pretty. In terms of features we needed the ability to create subtasks to infinity and not just 2 levels or so and we needed an easy way to tag entries. What we like about your solution is the flexibility, other systems want to force you into their way of doing things and we hate all the project management lingo like milestones gant charts etc.. In my opinion, a software needs to be helpful to the user and shouldn't be hard to use. It is user-friendly when you barely notice that it's there. Everything should be neatly integrated into one workflow. If it pains the user to use it or if it looks overwhelming because it has too many features then they simply won't. So please keep it that simple in version 2. :-) Best regards, Philipp

Hi Hauptstadtgold, Wow, we are happy to hear Quire is the one for you! 😃 May I ask what are the others you have tried, what made you choose Quire, and what are you using it for (personally or with a team)? Yes, we will have a pricing package and you need not worry about Quire going away. See here for more info. P.S. A theme option will be available in our upcoming Quire Mark II (aka Quire 2.0). 😃

Hi Philipp, Yes, we totally agree. It is the simple, flexible and elegant design of Quire, and our infinite nested tasks that distinguish us from the others. And yes, we shall most definitely stick to simplicity in Quire 2.0. 😃 By the way, we would love to hear more of your experience using Quire after you have used it for a while (eg. how has Quire helped you and your team accomplish your project). Please do not hesitate to share the story when you can!
