Basic Account Settings in Quire Permalink
The Basic Account Settings page allows you to manage your login credentials, personalization preferences, and calendar settings in Quire.
Access Account Settings
- Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the workspace.
- Select Account Settings.
Change Appearance and Theme
- Click your profile icon.
- Select Appearance.
- Choose:
- Light
- Dark
- Auto (follows your operating system setting)
Manage Email Address
- Go to Account Settings.
- Under the Basics section, locate Email.
- Click Edit.
- Enter your new email address.
- Confirm via the verification email sent to your inbox.
Note: If you don’t receive the confirmation email, check your spam folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact us at feedback@quire.io.
Add Another Email Address
- Go to Account Settings.
- Under Email, click + Add email.
- Enter the additional email address.
- Click Save.
Change or Reset Password
- Go to Account Settings.
- Under Password, click Change password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password.
- Save the changes.
Note: If you signed in with Google, you can skip entering the current password and directly set a new password.
Reset a Forgotten Password
- Go to the Forgot Password page.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Follow the instructions sent to your inbox.
Note:
- Signed in with Google and changed your Google domain? Check this FAQ for instructions.

Change Language and Calendar Preferences
- Go to Account Settings → Basics.
- Select your preferred Language.
Note: If language is set to Auto, the system follows your browser language settings. The first day of the week will also follow your selected language.
- Go to Account Settings → Basics.
- Locate First day of week.
- Select your preferred day.
Note: The default first day depends on your selected language. Changing language may automatically update this setting.
- Go to Account Settings → Basics.
- Locate Weekend.
- Select your preferred weekend days.
- Go to Account Settings → Basics.
- Toggle 24-hour time on.
- Go to Account Settings → Basics.
- Enable Show week number.
Week numbers will appear:
- In the date picker
- At the top of the Timeline view calendar

How do I switch between light and dark mode in Quire?
Click your profile icon > Appearance > choose Light, Dark, or Auto (follows your OS setting).
How do I change my Quire account email address?
Go to Account Settings > Basics > click Edit next to Email, enter the new address, and confirm via the verification email.
How do I change my Quire password?
Go to Account Settings > Password > Change password, enter your current password, then save a new one. If you signed in with Google, you can skip the current password step.
How do I reset my Quire password if I forgot it?
Go to quire.io/r/forgot, enter your registered email address, and follow the instructions sent to your inbox.
I changed my Google domain and can no longer log in to Quire. What should I do?
Go to the Reset Password page, set a new password using your old email, log in, then update your email in Account Settings > Basics. If you no longer have access to the old inbox, contact Quire support.
What if I can’t log in because my account was locked, not because I forgot my password?

How do I change the display language in Quire?
Go to Account Settings > Basics > Language. When set to Auto, Quire follows your browser language and updates the first day of week accordingly.
How do I change the first day of the week or weekend days in Quire?
Go to Account Settings > Basics and update First day of week and Weekend. Note that changing language may automatically update the first day of week.
How do I show week numbers in the Quire calendar?
Go to Account Settings > Basics and enable Show week number. Week numbers appear in the date picker and at the top of Timeline view.
