Set Task Priority in Quire Permalink
Task priority is a label that tells your team how urgently a task needs attention relative to others in the project. Assigning priorities reduces time spent deciding what to work on next and helps teams avoid high-impact tasks getting buried in long lists. In Quire, you can set priority from the main panel, the detail panel, or in bulk across multiple tasks at once.
Set Priority
From the Main Panel
- Click the arrow icon in the main panel.

Or press ! on your keyboard when the task is selected, then use the arrow keys to choose the priority level.
From the Detail Panel
- Open the task in the detail panel.

Click the arrow icon on the right.
Note: If a task’s priority is set to None, the arrow icon in the main panel only appears when you hover over the task.
Bulk Update
- Hold Shift and select the tasks.
- Click the arrow icon in the bottom menu bar.

Choose the priority level.
