Task Bundle in Quire Permalink
The Task Bundle feature is only available in Professional, Premium, Enterprise plans. More information can be found on our pricing page.
Task Bundle helps you preserve task hierarchy when visualizing work, especially in Board View. Instead of displaying all tasks in a flat layout, Task Bundle groups subtasks under their parent task for better context and control.
How Task Bundle Works
In the default Board View, tasks are displayed in a flat layout, meaning parent tasks and subtasks appear as separate cards.
When Task Bundle is enabled:
- Subtasks are nested under their parent task
- Task hierarchy is visually preserved
- Related work stays grouped when moving across columns
Note: In Tree and Timeline views, Task Bundle can also be enabled when grouping or sorting tasks. This prevents subtasks from being separated into different groups.
Enable Task Bundle
You can enable Task Bundle directly from the Board view menu.
- Switch to Board View.
- Click the Board icon on the right-hand side of the main panel.
- Toggle Task Bundle on.

Tip:
- Press 2 to open the Board view dropdown, then use arrow keys to enable Task Bundle
- Press O to expand or collapse a selected task bundle without clicking the arrow.
Change Task Properties With Task Bundle
When dragging a bundled task to another column:
- The entire task bundle moves together
- Only the parent task (first-level task) receives the new column property by default

Apply to All Tasks
To update the property for every task in the bundle:
- Hold the Alt key.
- Drag and drop the task bundle into another column.
- Release to apply the change to all bundled tasks.
