I can only use the 'grid' functionality from the Timeline view, not from the default Tree/List view.
Timeline:
I am unsure if this is by design, or a bug. Please let me know.

Another vote for "grid view". This new feature combined with "custom fields" would allow a all new level of organization!

Hi,
It's our purpose to have Grid view on Timeline only.
However, we're considering adding Grid view to the Tree view as well.
