#5864: Quire Feedback

When you use the board view or use a sorting schema that hides the hierarchy (or whenever you're inside a task), there's no clue about where you are in the tasks hierarchy.

For example, if you have similar names for sub tasks:

  • Checks on site 1
    • check A -- Due: 10/01
    • check B
  • Checks on site 2
    • check A -- Due: 10/01
    • check B

then, if you sort by date you get:

  • check A -- Due: 10/01
  • check A -- Due: 10/01

and there is no way for you to know which one corresponds to "site 1" or "site 2", no matter if you are viewing the list or inside the task.

Hierarchy itself is a valuable information about the task, and forcing users to put extra information in the task name or description is redundant.

Hope this suggestion makes sense for you guys.

Regards

Hi, You can toggle on Advanced mode to show the task hierarchy when sorting your tasks. To enable it, you can press i on your keyboard (or Option for Mac). Please visit our guide here for more details.

Alternatively, you can also enable the option to display task breadcrumbs in the task detail panel by default. For more information, kindly see our guide here.

Thank you.
