First of all, thank you for this amazing product. I have an issue with the Kanban view. The heirarchy of the tasks isn't clear in that view. If a task is a subtask of another task, they appear at the same level when zoomed out. In the list view this heirarchy is always clear. We see easily the level of each task.
↑I hope this.

Hi @Oussama_TARHI - Thank you for your feedback. In the Board view, no matter the task is a parent task or a subtask, it will show as flat task card with no hierarchy.
You can toggle on the Advanced mode to see the task path above the task name. Hit Ctrl for Windows or Alt for Mac. I hope this helps.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions for us! Thanks!

I have been rethinking my request for nested sub-tasks on a Kanban view.
I think you are correct to handle them as separate entities that can move through the workflow independent of the parent task or the other sub-tasks.
I would like the identification of the parent task to be shown by default on the sub-task and not by a keyboard shortcut or allow us to set that default at the project level.
I would like to to see the list of sub-tasks and their status of each shown on the parent task (like the way TickTick shows sub-tasks). This list should be able to be collapsed / expanded or folded in/ out of view
I should not be able to complete the parent task unless all the sub-tasks are complete or if I do I should be warned that doing so will cause all incomplete sub-tasks to be automatically completed by Quire.
Completing all sub-tasks should trigger an option to automatically complete the parent task.

Hi Richard - I would like to answer some of your requests. Thanks for the feedback! 😜

I will pass this suggestion to our team, however, I think this request is unlikely to be picked up by our team, since we think the most efficient way to toggle on and off the display mode is by a keyboard shortcut. I will keep you posted if I have any updates.

Here's a thread with similar suggestion like this one: #3221

Hi everyone! We have introduced a new feature called Task Bundle, which allows you to group the subtasks under their parent tasks so the task hierarchy will be preserved as it is. Check out this blog post for more information! 😃
Note: This feature is only available for Professional, Premium and Enterprise subscription.

Hi @Will-59 - No, the subtasks are shown as separated and individual tasks in Board view. Though other users have brought up similar request (#4175), we haven't have a conclusion on this within our team. We will need more time to think about this request. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please do share them in the thread. We are open to all the suggestions. Thank you!
