#6471: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Hi, you previously helped me think through how to set up Quire for managing multiple clients. I'm interested in revisiting this but can't seem to locate our prior conversations that explained the approach and reasoning. I believe you made some backend changes to support our multi-client servicing needs. Can you point me to where that conversation history can be found?

Basically, I work for a firm that services dozens of clients. I'm wondering if clients should be given their own organization, or should we use folders under a single organization, etc.? What are best practices in terms of portfolio reporting, permissions management, etc.?

Lastly, I'd like my internal users as well as guests to be able to sign in via their existing Microsoft 365 work credentials without having to create a separate Quire login. Is this possible?

Thanks, Aaron (awilson@adaptivedge.com)

Hi,

If you’re managing multiple clients, you have a couple of options:

  1. One organization with multiple projects
  • Create a separate project for each client.
  • If a client requires more than one project, you can organize them under a dedicated folder.
  • For permissions, we recommend inviting each client at the project level so they only see their own projects and not others. Please refer to our guide here for more details.
  1. Separate organizations for each client
  • This gives each client more control over their own permissions.
  • If you choose this setup and need to upgrade multiple organizations, we suggest the Premium or Enterprise plan. With these, you can use the Master Organization feature to link free organizations to a paid one. This way, all linked organizations share the same members, features, and quotas, and you’ll receive a single bill instead of separate charges.
  • You can find more details in our guide and blog.

As for reporting, you can view reports at the project overview or organization overview. We also recently launched the Chart feature, which lets you create various graphs in documents or task descriptions for more visual reporting.

Both approaches are used by our users, so the best choice depends on your workflow. If you’d like, you can share more details about your setup, and we can recommend the most suitable approach.

Lastly, I'd like my internal users as well as guests to be able to sign in via their existing Microsoft 365 work credentials without having to create a separate Quire login. Is this possible?

We support Single Sign-On, and you can review and find more details on our guide page.
