'Hey Siri, Add a Task in Quire!'

Siri for Quire

Last updated: July 22, 2026

TL;DR

Quire works with Siri on iPhone and iPad. Enable it once under Settings, then Siri and Search, then Quire, and you can add tasks by voice ("Add a task in Quire App") without opening the app. New tasks land in My Tasks as personal tasks, ready to move into any project.

Some days you just don't want to type. You're driving, your hands are covered in flour, or you've put the phone down and a task pops into your head anyway. That's exactly when Siri earns its keep.

Quire works with Siri on iPhone and iPad, so you can capture tasks out loud without opening the app. Say the word and we'll take care of the rest. Every great handoff starts with a simple "Hey Siri." 👋

Siri support is part of the broader Quire Mobile app, which has come a long way since this post first published.

Voice is one more sign the phone became the office. Statista reports that mobile devices now drive the majority of the world's web traffic, so catching a task the second it strikes matters.

What can you get done with Siri and Quire?

Three moments where saying it out loud beats typing.

MomentWhat Siri does
Setting it up onceConnect Siri to Quire on iPhone or iPad, then it is ready to go
Hands full or drivingSay the task out loud and it is captured, no app needed
Back at your deskThe task is waiting in Quire, where you expect it

Siri won't run your whole project, and it isn't meant to. What it does is close the gap between a thought and a task, the gap where good ideas usually die. You capture by voice now and sort or schedule later at your desk. That one habit, catching things the moment they occur to you, is what keeps a to-do list honest.

Capture first, organize later at your desk. That really is the whole trick to a to-do list you trust.
