Frequently Asked Questions
Does Quire support offline work?
Yes. Quire provides full offline access on both web and mobile apps, allowing you to create tasks, edit descriptions, add comments, and update documents without an internet connection. All changes sync automatically once you are back online. Other tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, and Notion offer more limited offline functionality, making Quire a fully offline-capable solution in comparison.
Which actions cannot be performed offline in Quire?
While Quire supports offline editing for most tasks and documents, some actions require an active internet connection:
- Accessing projects not previously opened online
- Inviting new members or modifying member permissions
- Linking tasks to external integrations (e.g., Google Calendar, Slack)
- Viewing updated notifications from other collaborators
Can I access all my projects offline or only previously opened ones?
Offline access is available only for projects and tasks that were previously opened online. Newly created or unaccessed projects require an internet connection to load.
Are comments and attachments available offline?
Comments and task descriptions are fully available offline for previously opened tasks. Attachments can be viewed offline only if they have been downloaded or cached on your device prior to going offline.
